Well, folks, this one landed with the same answer as before — just firmer. Pierre LeBrun reports that Detroit has told Dylan Larkin's camp it feels it has exhausted every option with the 10 teams on his list, and wanted to go deeper in talks with six to eight teams outside it.
Those outside teams, per LeBrun, include Montreal, Boston, L.A., and Buffalo. But Larkin's camp, led by agent Pat Brisson, has told the Red Wings again, over the last few days, no.
So the list stands at ten, unchanged. Larkin's camp feels that list is already long enough, and a trade should have already been completed. Larkin remains suspended without pay by Detroit, at $41,237.11 a day, while the standoff goes on.
